The Ultimate DJ Experience

The Ultimate DJ Experience is a DJ service in Wisconsin Rapids, WI, serving weddings, birthday and graduation parties, school functions, corporate parties, fundraisers and benefits. The operation is run by Jeff Vetrone, known as DJ Rock, who has been in the disc jockey business for more than 25 years and has worked in dance clubs as well as private events. He is the house DJ at a bar in downtown Wisconsin Dells on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, a role he has held for over 18 years. He treats DJ work as a full-time job rather than a hobby, and books only one event per day so that each client has his full attention.

Every event is treated as its own occasion rather than a cookie-cutter package. Clients can choose how involved the DJ is: he can simply play music, or handle announcing, coordination and the flow of the event, and he can provide a microphone and PA for an officiant or speaker on its own or coordinate the entire event with sound and lighting. Weddings include a personal planning meeting with the couple and a second meeting at the venue to settle setup questions. Other functions get a meeting at least two weeks to a month ahead. Music spans the 1920s and 1940s big band era through current country, rock, hip hop, R&B, pop and alternative dance music, along with novelty and specialty songs, and guests' requests are accepted within the guidelines the client sets.

The service is based on Church Ave in Wisconsin Rapids, about half a mile from 8th Street South and Mill Avenue, roughly a mile from Five Mile Creek, and under two miles from Lost Lake and the neighborhoods of White Pine Point and Point Cove at NEPCO Lake.

Setup is promised on time with music playing for guests from the start of the agreed hours. The DJ dresses to match the event, whether that calls for a suit and tie, a Hawaiian shirt or camo, and brings professional mobile sound and lighting equipment. Planning support is offered throughout, and clients are told the price covers what the event needs without hidden fees or upsells. Past clients describe him as flexible, professional and skilled at getting guests dancing.
