All Fur Paws, LLC

All Fur Paws, LLC is a dog training practice in Wisconsin Rapids, WI, serving Central Wisconsin and beyond. The business provides professional positive reinforcement dog training and behavior consulting, with a focus on force-free, science-based methods. Services include in-your-home private lessons covering basic and foundation skills, leash walking, and good manners, as well as behavior consulting for dogs with behavioral issues through individualized Behavior Improvement Plans. The practice also offers therapy dog training, virtual lessons via Zoom or Microsoft Teams, boarding and training for dogs under one year of age, and Play, Stay and Train sessions for dogs boarding or attending daycare at a partner facility called Boone's K9 Clubhouse. All ages and breeds of dogs are accepted, and there is no charge for initial phone consultations.

The trainer behind the business, Kim Waugus, has been training dogs professionally for 25 years and has been active in the rescue and shelter world for 30 years. Her approach is built on positive reinforcement and force-free techniques rather than punishment or aversive tools like leash corrections or choke chains, and she works with clients to build a relationship with their dog based on trust rather than fear. Kim has fostered hundreds of dogs and worked with many rescue and shelter organizations, with a particular fondness for Boxers and Boston Terriers. She holds credentials as a Mentor Trainer for CATCH Canine Trainers Academy and as an AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy and CGC Evaluator, and she continues her own education by attending workshops and seminars to stay current with evolving methods in animal behavior.
