Virginia Dentistry by Design is a periodontist in Herndon, VA. The practice offers a wide selection of dental services in one location, including family check-ups, dental implants, porcelain veneers, orthodontic options, crowns and bridges, periodontal treatment, restorative and cosmetic dentistry, and sleep apnea therapy. Dr. Sonia Dilolli leads the practice with a team of dental hygienists and dental assistants. The office welcomes patients from Herndon and the surrounding area, and it holds a rating of 4.90 based on customer reviews.

Dr. Dilolli knew she wanted to be a dentist from the age of 12 and has been in private practice for many years. She graduated with honors from the University of Texas with a Bachelor of Science in Biology before earning her doctorate from Texas A&M, Baylor College of Dentistry. Her post-doctoral training includes dental implants through the Misch Implant Institute and Implant Seminars with Arun Garg, D.D.S., and orthodontics through the American Orthodontic Society. She is pursuing a fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and she invests time in continuing education every year.

The practice emphasizes personalized attention at every visit, beginning with listening to each patient's concerns and goals. Before any treatment begins, Dr. Dilolli explains why a procedure is needed, how it will be performed, and how long it will take, and patients are often given more than one treatment option. The office is open Monday through Thursday from 8:00am to 5:00pm and Friday from 8:00am to 1:00pm. It accepts most major PPO insurance plans and offers financing and an in-house savings plan for patients without current coverage.

The office sits on Elden Street, about a tenth of a mile from Fairfax County Parkway and Baron Cameron Avenue, and roughly a third of a mile from Reston Hospital Center and Sugarland Run.

Dr. Dilolli's years in private practice, her implant and orthodontic training, and a 4.90 rating from patients reflect a periodontics and general dentistry practice built around careful, personalized care in Herndon.
