Hayasa Flooring Design, Inc

Hayasa Flooring Design, Inc is a flooring contractor in San Francisco, CA. The company provides hardwood flooring services for both residential and commercial clients across the Bay Area, including installation, finishing, restoration, and custom staircase work. In addition to core flooring services, the team also builds custom structures such as ceiling beams, wooden walls, and kitchen cabinets. They offer free in-home consultations with flooring samples and work by appointment. The business holds a rating of 5.00 based on 24 reviews.

The company was founded in 2012 by brothers Levon and Hakob Karapetyans, who grew up in a family of architectural millworkers with a reputation spanning more than three generations. Levon, who graduated from the State Academy of Fine Arts of Armenia before moving to the United States, fell in love with the craft after several years working in the flooring industry and dedicated himself to mastering the trade. Hakob co-founded the business and has been involved in administration, operations, labor, and client acquisition, later returning to school to earn a degree from the University of California, Berkeley's Haas School of Business in 2016 before rejoining the company to lead business development. Starting with simple residential projects, the brothers built a team capable of handling commercial projects of any scale. Past commercial clients include Salesforce, Dropbox, and Equinox. The crew works with in-house floor covering equipment and expertise in oils and stains to design custom colors, and each client receives an individual approach rather than a mass-produced result.

The business is located on Barneveld Avenue, about a tenth of a mile from the San Francisco Fire Department Emergency Medical Services Division Headquarters and Fire Station 49, and a similar distance from Bayshore Boulevard, Fire Station 9, and the James Lick Freeway.

Drawing on a family tradition in millwork and more than a decade of focused practice in hardwood flooring, Hayasa Flooring Design serves as a specialist resource for homeowners, architects, general contractors, and builders throughout the Bay Area.
