The service department offers tiered tune packages called Alloy Tune, Carbon Tune, Titanium Tune, and Titanium Tune MTB, each building on the previous level with added work such as brake bleeds, cable replacement, ultrasonic drivetrain cleaning, wheel truing, and suspension service. The techs also perform diagnostics, firmware updates, and maintenance on the e-bike brands the shop sells. Beyond the shop floor, the team races, sponsors events, and organizes group rides and clinics. The crew traveled to Kansas to compete in the Unbound Gravel 100, sponsored multiple races and events through the 2026 winter season, and rehomes donated, lightly used cycling gear with youth riders in need.

The shop sits at 11879 N Saguaro Blvd, a short distance from Kiwanis Park and the Rotary Splash Pad, with Colony Wash and Malta Wash running nearby.

McDowell Mountain Cycles has built a reputation as the bike shop serving Fountain Hills and riders from across the region who come for the area's trails.
