The campground was originally built and nurtured for over 20 years by Christine before she retired in Fall 2018. Open Trail Adventure LLC purchased the property that fall, and it is now co-owned by the O’Malley family and Tom and Cathy Williams. The O’Malley family, who left city life to manage the park, take pride in maintaining a family atmosphere and providing beautiful views. The park serves a diverse group of visitors, including families, retirees, rock climbers, and hunters. On-site amenities include clean private bathrooms, a splash pad, and laundry facilities. A small store sells convenience items such as ice, firewood, ice cream, toothbrushes, and souvenirs. Propane filling is also available on-site.

Guests benefit from managers living onsite to assist with needs. Check-in begins at 2 pm, and check-out is at 11:00 am. Late check-out until 12:30 pm can be requested. The office is open from 9 am, though it is closed on some holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas. Late check-ins are accommodated via a self-service system with blue and white boxes for reservations and walk-ins. The park is pet-friendly, requiring animals to remain under supervision and on a leash or fenced in. Cancellations must be made at least three days prior to receive a refund, with a processing fee of 10% of the total reservation. Cancellations for the 4th of July require two weeks' notice.
