PACE Enterprises

PACE Enterprises is a staffing agency and vocational services organization in Morgantown, West Virginia. Since 1972, it has provided pre-vocational and vocational rehabilitation services to individuals with disabilities across North Central West Virginia, helping clients of all backgrounds and abilities find meaningful employment, build independence, and take part in community life. Its services include job training and coaching with approved community vendors, community-based assessment that lets individuals explore different job environments, direct placement with local employers, and life skills training covering independent living, job seeking, and adulthood. PACE also operates its own businesses that employ people with disabilities, with work in custodial services, grounds maintenance, and document shredding, and it runs the Beehive Cafe. Offices in Morgantown, Fairmont, and Charleston are open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The Morgantown office holds a rating of 4.00 from customer reviews.

The organization follows a three-step process. A person with a disability comes to PACE and is evaluated and counseled to determine their talents and career goals, training is then tailored to polish those talents and overcome obstacles, and finally the individual is either introduced to a local employer or employed in one of PACE's own business ventures. PACE describes itself as community-led and works both through its own ventures and in collaboration with other businesses to arrange suitable placements.

The Morgantown office sits on Mylan Park Lane, about 0.2 miles from the Alternative Learning Center and 0.3 miles from Chisler Knob, the Hazel & J.W. Ruby Community Center of Mylan Park, and Mylan Park itself. The Mylan Park Aquatic Center is roughly a mile away, and Dents Run Covered Bridge is about 1.4 miles from the office.

PACE Enterprises has served North Central West Virginia since 1972 and holds a positive rating from the customers who have reviewed it.
