Dale's Weston Lanes

Dale's Weston Lanes is a bowling alley in Weston, Wisconsin, serving families and bowlers from Weston and the surrounding Wausau metro area. The center offers open bowling, bumper lanes for children, and Glow Bowling sessions with the lights down, music up, and special effects lighting. Beyond the lanes, the facility includes billiards, volleyball, horseshoes, wedding facilities, banquet halls, and a bar and grill. It holds a rating of 4.30 from customer reviews.

The youth program is a central part of what the alley does. Coaches teach children the basics of a sport that draws more than 68 million Americans each year, and leagues are run as recreational rather than tryout-based, with a stated goal of fun alongside learning. Bowlers are grouped by skill and comfort rather than age alone: Pee Wees for younger children who need bumpers and shorter sessions, Bantams working toward bowling without bumpers, and Juniors for more independent bowlers. Bantams who complete a season without bumpers can enter tournaments and state competition. Season fees are paid up front and include shoe rental and use of a house ball, and make-up sessions are available for families who cannot attend every week. The 2025-2026 youth theme is Wild About Youth Bowling - Safari. For bowlers ready for more practice, the center can point families to middle and high school team information for the Mosinee, Wausau, and DCE school districts.

The alley sits on Schofield Avenue, about half a mile from Robinwood Park and roughly the same distance from the SAFER Weston Fire Station and the Everest Metro Police Department. Kellyland Park is about 0.7 miles away, and Weston Elementary is about 1.6 miles from the lanes.

Dale's Weston Lanes has earned a positive rating from the customers who have reviewed it, reflecting a bowling alley that Weston families return to for youth leagues, open bowling, and Glow Bowling nights.
