Shannon approaches each session by asking questions to determine the best treatment based on client preferences, wellness goals, and quiet guided intuition. She combines intuition with various modalities to address physical and non-physical concerns. Services include deep tissue and full body relaxation massages. All treatments are infused with essential oils such as ylang ylang, sandalwood, lime, petigrain, and clary sage. These blends are designed to treat specific concerns. Base oils include evening primrose, virgin coconut oil, apricot kernel, jojoba, and avocado. The studio offers a sensory hair and scalp massage ritual. This treatment uses warm oil brushed through the hair with a wood pin brush. It includes hand and facial massage. A heated towel wrap helps the oils absorb into the scalp. The facility also provides Gua Sha, an East Asian healing technique. This method uses scraping to address muscle tension, pain, and circulation. It helps resolve musculoskeletal pain and congestion.

Deep Roots Massage features a Cedar Far Infrared Sauna. The sauna includes chakra balancing chromotherapy, mood enhancing essential oils, and sound escape. Far infrared light rays penetrate the skin to warm soft tissue, joints, and bone. This technology allows for a comfortable environment at lower air temperatures. The sauna helps with pain alleviation, skin conditions, and seasonal affective disorder. Clients may pair the sauna with a massage for a complete experience. The business offers packaged discount solutions, all natural and organic products, and massage therapy tools. New clients arrive ten minutes early for a health history form. The studio hosts community events and features artwork from local artists including Elias, John Kowalczyk, and teen interns from ArtWorks for Milwaukee.
