Sundance Kennels of Pleasant Prairie

Sundance Kennels of Pleasant Prairie is a pet boarding facility in Pleasant Prairie, WI, operating on a rural property about an hour north of Chicago. The kennel offers boarding, German Shorthaired Pointer breeding, and field and obedience training, serving dog owners who want both care for their pets while they travel and a working dog or well-mannered companion at home. Boarding guests stay in clean, modern indoor-outdoor kennel runs with access to spacious exercise areas, and an optional "Cuddle Time" service is available. The kennel holds a rating of 4.80 from the customers who have reviewed it.

The facility sits on an eight-acre property featuring heated and air-conditioned indoor and outdoor kennel runs, alongside a five-acre fenced field where boarded dogs can run, play, or take a leisurely trail walk. Special needs and senior pets are welcomed with extra care, and exercise sessions and playtime programs are part of daily care. The boarding staff works full-time on the property and is dedicated to the physical and emotional well-being of every guest. The kennel is open for inspection during business hours, and prospective clients are encouraged to stop by.

In training, Sundance Kennels works with dogs on upland game and household obedience, with the goal of producing a manageable family pet and a capable hunting companion. The German Shorthaired Pointer program has consistently produced even-tempered, affectionate family dogs with a strong desire to hunt upland game. The kennel was founded in 1980 by Lee and Mary Sienkowski and is now owned and operated by their daughter Stacey Feeney, who continues the family's multi-decade tradition of care.
