Lake Country Remodeling

Lake Country Remodeling is a kitchen remodeler in Oconomowoc, WI, serving homeowners across Waukesha County and surrounding communities including Hartland, Delafield, and Brookfield. The company handles bathrooms, kitchens, siding, decks, basements, roofing, and windows and doors, working as a full-service remodeling contractor that has operated since 2001. Over a thousand homeowners in southeastern Wisconsin have completed projects with the company, and it holds a rating of 4.10 based on customer reviews.

The business was founded by Ben and Brian Peterson, who began helping homeowners with remodeling work in 1980. Ben Peterson retired in 2017, and Tim Buus joined as a partner in 2018. Lake Country Remodeling maintains direct relationships with wholesale suppliers, allowing it to work without a middleman and remain competitive on project costs. The company owns its office building at 210 S Silver Lake Street in Oconomowoc and runs a showroom at the same address. Homeowners work with consultants who explain available products and how projects can be tailored to their needs, while craftsmen handle the physical work. The staff treats clients like family and focuses on delivering a quality product on time.

The showroom and office sit on South Silver Lake Street, about a fifth of a mile from Oconomowoc City Hall, the Western Waukesha Municipal Court, and the Oconomowoc City Police Department. Saint Pauls Evangelical Lutheran School is within a short walk to the south.

The positive customer rating reflects a long track record of completed projects across Waukesha County and a service approach built around treating homeowners like family and standing behind the finished product.

For a homeowner in the Lake Country area weighing a kitchen or bathroom remodel, the combination of a four-decade history, a wide range of in-house specialties, and a local showroom in Oconomowoc gives Lake Country Remodeling a practical starting point.
