Knepper Brothers Inc

Knepper Brothers Inc is an auto repair shop in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, serving the Bay View area and the wider city. The shop handles quality repairs and performance upgrades for all vehicles, work it has been doing since 1952. Customers rate Knepper Brothers 4.90 based on 115 reviews, and the mechanics named in those reviews, Aaron and Elijah, have worked on repeat customers' vehicles, including business fleets. Reviewers describe reliable, timely work, clear communication, and reasonable rates, and several note that the shop tells them when a repair is not yet necessary and looks for ways to save them money. Longtime customers say they have brought their vehicles to Knepper Brothers for years and are treated like family.

The shop's history in Milwaukee stretches back more than seven decades, with the same emphasis on straightforward service that customers describe in review after review. One customer wrote that the shop kept a car on the lot for a month while repairs were postponed, rather than sending it away. Another noted that after a rough estimate came in above budget, the shop worked with them on timing instead of pushing the job through. That kind of flexibility and honesty is what reviewers return to: trustworthy, hard-working mechanics who explain what a vehicle needs and what it can wait on.

Knepper Brothers sits on South Kinnickinnic Avenue, about a tenth of a mile from the John R. Plewa Memorial Lake Parkway. Trowbridge Elementary School is roughly two-tenths of a mile away, Sijan Playfield about three-tenths of a mile, and the Welcome to Cleveland public artwork is a similar distance from the shop.

With a 4.90 rating across 115 reviews and more than seventy years serving Bay View drivers, Knepper Brothers has built its Milwaukee reputation on the work itself and on customers who keep coming back.
