DWT Tax & Accounting Inc

DWT Tax & Accounting Inc is an accountant and CPA firm in Milwaukee, WI. The firm provides accounting and bookkeeping, tax preparation, tax planning, IRS problem resolution, QuickBooks services, outsourced accounting, and incorporation and new business advisory work to small businesses and individuals across the Milwaukee metropolitan area. Its industry focus includes law firms, real estate, professional services, and consumer services businesses. The firm's accountants help clients manage cash flow, develop practical budgets, and select the entity type that brings the most tax advantages, and they work with individuals on tax preparation and with taxpayers who need to settle outstanding tax debt with the IRS.

Accounting and bookkeeping services are built around each small business, with an emphasis on controlling expenses, watching cash flow, and staying on track toward business goals. For clients who would rather not staff an internal accounting department, the firm takes on payroll, accounts payable, and credit card reconciliations, and provides weekly and monthly financial reports along with bank reconciliations, financial statements, and tax preparation. Incorporation and new business advisory covers the advantages and disadvantages of each entity type, help filing the appropriate documentation, business plan development, and QuickBooks setup.

QuickBooks work is a specialty. As a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor, the firm installs and sets up QuickBooks, customizes the chart of accounts, creates reports, and designs invoices, trains clients on day-to-day features and shortcuts, and provides ongoing support through the year. The firm also cleans up data files.

The office sits on South 92nd Street at West Beloit Road in Milwaukee, about a tenth of a mile from St. Matthias School and roughly half a mile from Euclid Park.
