The business brings more than 25 years of experience to its events. Its background began in high school, with volunteer work at haunted houses and several years at Marcus Theater, alongside live performance as a musician playing bass, starting a band, and working as a roadie and sound-man assistant for local acts. College study covered music theory, photography, business management, and marketing, with weekends spent spinning records at 80s-themed house parties. Public performing started with apprenticeships under other DJs, then running a teen club, followed by several years as one of the house DJs at the Horse & Plow and American Club.

That range as a music producer, lighting technician, and photographer shapes how an evening with guests is run. The business has spent 25+ years shooting photos for Icon Studios Photography while energizing dance floors, and after hundreds of weddings it customizes each event to the client's liking, aiming to keep a wedding day running smoothly and stress free and to keep dance floors moving. Light shows are part of the offering for weddings, corporate events, school dances, and private parties.
