The shop describes itself as passionate about bicycles and sees them as a solution to several community problems at once: personal health, environmental health, and transportation costs, as well as time spent riding with family and friends. It serves new and veteran riders alike, including road and mountain enthusiasts and people who ride for recreation or transportation. Staff are described as cyclists themselves who listen to what a customer needs and work to find the right products. The store backs its pricing with a low price promise: if the same product is found in stock locally at a lower price within 30 days of purchase, the difference is credited back.

Attitude Sports sits on North Macy Street in downtown Fond du Lac, about a tenth of a mile from West Johnson Street and North Main Street. Washington School and Fire Station Number 5 are both roughly a tenth of a mile away, and Saint Patricks School is about two tenths of a mile from the store.

The shop's 4.90 rating reflects how customers regard it, and it has supplied Fond du Lac and the greater surrounding area with bicycles, skis, boards and outerwear since 1995, giving riders three decades of local knowledge to draw on when choosing gear.
