Community Bark Dog Wash & Groom - Bayside is a pet store in Brown Deer, WI, offering self-service dog washes, full-service baths, professional grooming, and extra head-to-paw care for dogs. Community Bark was founded in 2009 with the goal of creating a better experience for pups and their owners. Modeled after the South Bark Dog Wash in San Diego, the business was built to bring that same energy and signature Blueberry Facial to Milwaukee. The Bayside location was the company's first shop, opening in September 2009, and is owned by Amanda, who lives and works locally alongside co-owner Mary, who runs the Bay View shop. The team operates on a written promise to treat every dog like their own, prioritize each animal's well-being, keep owners informed after every visit, support other Milwaukee-area businesses, and help improve dog welfare across Wisconsin. ProGroom services run by appointment seven days a week, and the dog wash and Barker Lounge are open daily from 9AM to 5PM, with the last wash starting 45 minutes before closing.

The shop sits at 326 W Brown Deer Rd in Brown Deer, WI, with customers able to text or call (414) 364-9274 to book appointments or ask questions.

Long-standing customers describe the staff's care as a defining part of the experience, with one client noting nearly five years of visits and praising how the team handles dogs with high grooming needs. That reputation for hands-on, compassionate grooming is what keeps regulars coming back to both Community Bark locations.
