Oil changes at Hiway Fuel Point S are performed for all makes and models, domestic and import, by certified technicians who also handle broader vehicle maintenance. The shop notes that engine oil lubricates moving parts, prevents corrosion, cleans internal deposits, and performs up to 40 percent of an engine's cooling, which is why it recommends oil changes on schedule for passenger cars, SUVs, light-duty pickups, and minivans. On brakes, the shop replaces calipers, performs routine brake fluid changes, and fits pads and rotors for high-mileage and high-performance vehicles, diagnosing soft or pulsating pedals and noisy brakes. Wheel alignments are performed on computerized equipment, and when repairs such as a loose tie rod end replacement are needed, the team explains the work and provides a repair estimate before proceeding. The shop is part of Point S, a member-owned cooperative of more than 470 independent tire stores across more than 32 states, with over 40 years of working together.

The shop sits on E Street in Washougal, about 0.2 miles from E Street, Elizabeth Park, and Washougal River Road, and roughly 0.2 to 0.3 miles from Beaver Park, the Washougal Police Department, and Washougal Fire Station 43.
