Sky Nursery

Sky Nursery is a Landscaping in Shoreline, WA, located at 18528 Aurora Ave N. Since 1953, Sky Nursery has provided plants and gardening supplies to the Shoreline community. The business began as Richmond Highlands Feed Store, founded by Irene and Jim Landry in 1953. The original location was a small building on a leased plot that sold chicken feed and hardware. The Landrys invested in the neighboring property, which is the current site of Sky Nursery. They expanded the business by adding land and buildings over time. The original store featured a small garden bed where customers dug up their own shrubs. As the area transitioned from small farms to suburban homes, the Landrys studied horticulture in night school and built greenhouses to focus on plants and garden supplies. They renamed the family business Sky Nursery in the early 1960s. Offerings include bagged and bulk soil and mulch, as well as specialty plants like Gunnera Brazilian Giant Rhubarb and dahlias. The nursery also provides bonsai classes and assistance with identifying plants, weeds, or pests through photo submissions. The store is open from 9 am to 6 pm daily, with Sky Coffee hours from 9 am to 5 pm. Customers can reach the business at 206-546-4851 or by email. Sky Nursery holds a 4.60 rating from customers who have reviewed the business. Sky Nursery combines its long history in Shoreline with a comprehensive selection of gardening supplies and expert advice for local gardeners.
