Uptown Espresso - Belltown is a coffee shop in Seattle, WA. It serves a full espresso and coffee menu built around a proprietary roast and a signature preparation called Velvet Foam, alongside handmade bakery treats and a breakfast and lunch menu. The Belltown location at 2504 4th Ave opens daily from 6am to 5pm.

Uptown Espresso was established in Seattle in 1984 at the bottom of Queen Anne Hill and grew into a mainstay of the city's coffee scene. Its founders built a following through expert baristas, a proprietary coffee roast, a cool and comfortable atmosphere, and Velvet Foam. The origins trace back to 1985, when a local dock worker named Oscar Delaloye began roasting imported coffee beans at home, eventually growing the venture into Seattle Tea & Coffee and setting up shop in Pike Place Market. Three generations later, Oscar's great grandson Dow Lucurell joined Uptown Espresso as a barista and carried the business forward. After Dow's passing in July 2018, Paul Odom, owner of Fonté Coffee Roaster, acquired Uptown Espresso. Today the company operates six locations throughout Seattle.

The Belltown shop sits at the corner of 4th Avenue and Wall Street, a short walk from Antioch University - Seattle, and within a block of the US Post Office Station #111. It holds a rating of 4.40.

Uptown's three decades of roasting heritage and its devotion to detail give it a long-established place among Seattle's independent coffee houses.
