They serve homeowners throughout Seattle and the Eastside. MoDecks has earned a 5.00 rating based on over 50 Google reviews.

The company operates with a structural-first approach, starting every project with a professional on-site assessment. This process involves evaluating framing, slope stability, drainage, and soil conditions to determine if a deck requires new construction, resurfacing, or full replacement. Their services include new deck construction built to meet current building codes and site conditions, as well as deck resurfacing, which is performed only when the existing framing is found to be safe and code-compliant. To assist homeowners, they manage structural engineering, drawings, city permits, inspections, and HOA coordination.

MoDecks focuses on inspecting how a deck is framed, how it attaches to a home, how loads are transferred, and how water drains. This method is intended to help homeowners avoid failed inspections and unnecessary rebuilds caused by moisture or outdated construction methods. Their crews operate under specific site standards, which include keeping gates closed, not smoking, and avoiding loud music to keep properties safe for pets and livable during projects.

MoDecks is known for its positive customer rating and its specialized focus on structural integrity for deck projects in Kirkland.
