Green Heat is an HVAC contractor in Essex Junction, VT, located at 38 Pinehurst Dr. The company serves homeowners across Chittenden County, including Jericho, Colchester, South Burlington, Essex, and Williston. Green Heat handles all makes and models of air conditioning and heating equipment, with a service lineup that includes heat pumps, mini-splits, furnaces, boilers, central AC, gas line work, and water heater installation, replacement, and repair, including high-efficiency heat pump water heaters. The company has been family-owned and serving the area since 2018.

Green Heat is a licensed HVAC contractor holding Vermont license number GB-02627. The business was started by its owner, Andrew, in 2018 after years of working on heating and cooling systems in Vermont homes, where he repeatedly saw equipment sized by rule of thumb rather than by an actual load calculation. The company works from a whole-house perspective, tying the boiler, the water heater, and the room temperature together when sizing equipment and planning a job. Gas line services cover running new lines for kitchen stoves or generators, fixing leaks, and resizing supply pipe for a new boiler, covering both propane and natural gas. Water heater work begins with how a household actually uses hot water, the morning rush, back-to-back showers, a soaking tub, then the fuel, the space, and the real demand before any recommendation. The team also gives the honest call between repair and replacement: a failed part on an otherwise sound tank is worth fixing, a tank leaking from the tank itself is not. Estimates on installations and major repairs are free, diagnostic fees are quoted before a technician is sent, and most service calls are handled the same day, with emergency response available outside business hours.

Green Heat holds a 5.00 rating from 502 Google reviews. Customers describe the crew, including Andrew, Justin, Adam, Josh, Deanna, and Shawn, as punctual, capable, and professional, with installations of high-efficiency equipment such as Vitodens wall-mounted condensing boilers and 97 percent efficient gas furnaces completed neatly and on time. Communication is straightforward, estimates are written, and the team leaves homes as they found them. Known for sizing systems to the house rather than to a guess, Green Heat has become the company homeowners turn to across Chittenden County when older equipment finally needs to be replaced with work that holds up to Vermont winters.
