HomeKey Inspections of Reston

HomeKey Inspections of Reston is a home inspector in Reston, VA. The company performs home inspections along with radon testing, mold testing, leak detection, sewer scope, and pre-drywall inspections for buyers, sellers, and owners of new construction. Its inspectors are licensed and AHIT certified, and its radon work is handled by Radon Measurement Specialists certified by the National Radon Safety Board. The company holds a rating of 5.00 based on customer reviews.

HomeKey Inspections uses infrared thermal imaging cameras and moisture meters to find leaks that are not visible to the naked eye, reading temperature differences across walls, ceilings, and floors where moisture may be trapped. Its mold testing screens the air or a surface, and samples go to an ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accredited lab for analysis, with images of the spores included in the report. Radon testing uses short-term equipment with same-day results once a test is complete. Pre-drywall inspections catch deficiencies or missing items before they are covered up. For sewer scope work, a certified inspector runs a camera through the sewer lateral pipe connecting the house to the public sewer or septic tank to look for broken pipes and other major problems. The company also maintains trade referrals and homeowner resources, and its inspectors are trained beyond state standards.

HomeKey Inspections of Reston is located on Towncenter Plz in Reston, Virginia.
