The business was named in honor of Brad’s first K9 partner, a Fairfax County patrol and narcotics canine who served for ten years. Brad has served as a K9 handler in a large metropolitan police department since 2009 and is currently an active handler and head trainer. He utilizes a balanced training philosophy with an emphasis on positive reinforcement, tailoring packages to fit the needs of the dog and its family. Brad’s wife and kids are involved in the training process to ensure each dog receives comprehensive care. Clients receive daily updates and photos throughout the training period. At the end of the program, the trainer provides a personalized take-home lesson to review skills and ensure a smooth transition back to the owner’s home. The business offers drop-off and pickup options for convenience. Kodiak K9 Training of Centreville brings its specialized board and train methodology to Centreville, offering dog owners a structured path to well-mannered pets through immersive, home-based instruction.
