Michael's Lawn Service began in June 2003 and grew in Vienna, VA. When Michael left for college, his brother Cameron Medwedeff took over as Operations Manager for two years before purchasing the business in September 2011. Cameron kept the name because of its good reputation and has continued serving the Vienna area, including zip codes 22180, 22181, 22182, 22027, 22124, 22101, 22102, 22031 and 22043. The company is licensed with the Town of Vienna and also serves Oakton, Dunn Loring, McLean and surrounding areas.

Mowing visits include mowing, trimming with a weed whacker, edging sidewalks and blowing off grass clippings. Weekly mowing runs approximately 32 visits per season from April through November and renews automatically each year. Core aeration reduces turf compaction and thatch, improves water and nutrient infiltration and encourages deeper roots; thin spots receive double aeration. Spring cleanup covers removing leaves and natural debris, cutting back hydrangeas, liriope and dead annuals and perennials. Mulching uses double shredded mulch in brown, black, red, pine nuggets, rubber and other options, and includes delivery, a cut edge along flowerbeds and spreading at one inch in existing beds. Flowerbed pre-emergent applications in spring and fall prevent weed seeds from germinating, and a bi-weekly flowerbed weed service runs approximately March through October.

Snow removal is billed by measurable snowfall, service timing and access conditions, with residential service covering the driveway, walkway to the front door, sidewalks and ice melt. Customers choose a trigger amount between 1 and 8.9 inches, with service from November 15 to March 31.

The business is located on Windover Avenue Northwest in Arlington.
