Capricho Interiors

Capricho Interiors is an interior designer and retail design studio in Levelland, Texas, at 13520 Slide Rd. The studio offers professional design services alongside high-end home furnishings, and its retail store carries an ever-changing selection of in-stock furniture, accessories, lighting, rugs, bedding, and other home items. The team works with clients on custom interiors, custom window coverings, and full-service home design, and an integral part of its approach is getting to know the client before designing sophisticated spaces that feel timeless yet inviting for the whole family. The business holds a rating of 4.60.

The business began more than 20 years ago, when Lupe Blakeley opened the first Alterations Unlimited. Her love of fine details and textiles turned it into an upscale custom window coverings shop called Drapes Unlimited, and in recent years it grew into full-service custom interiors as Capricho Interiors. In January 2015 the business relocated to a new retail store location in south Lubbock to give clients a distinct shopping experience. Lupe Blakeley, owner and designer, brings years of retail experience in the luxury market and a personal approach to home design. Jim Blakeley, also an owner, previously ran a local waste business, and his entrepreneurial experience helped turn a drapery boutique into a full service furniture store. Designer Heather Osborne holds a Bachelor of Interior Design and a minor in Architecture from Texas Tech University.

The studio sits on south Slide Road, just after the crossing at FM 1585, on the west side of the road. Store hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, and the store is closed Saturday and Sunday.

Capricho Interiors is known for the positive rating it has earned from the customers who have reviewed it, and for a team whose mix of design personalities shapes both its consultation work and its retail floor in Levelland.
