Humble Camera Center was established in October 1995 on Main Street in a historic part of downtown Humble. The business has been family owned and operated for over 30 years. It is one of the few stores in the country that has continued to process film, both 35 mm and 120, and make prints in store without a break since 1996. Printing now includes canvas, metal, acrylic, and wood. Custom framing was added a year after the first film processors were installed. As digital photography grew, the store added film scanning, video transfers to digital, and a stock of used photography gear, including digital and vintage cameras and lenses. A rental department carries Canon, Nikon, and Sony equipment, and in-house camera and lens repair is offered.

Owner Brad Crosby was born and raised in the Houston area and has worked in the camera industry for over 27 years, with degrees in Electronics Engineering and Photographic Equipment Repair. He runs the store with his wife Kimberly. The shop stocks lighting systems, light stands, tripods, camera cases, straps, and backpacks, and sells and processes film in house. Customers can bring in older cameras, including inherited ones, and staff will show them how to use the equipment. Repair services include sensor cleaning, annual maintenance, full service cleaning, lens calibration, and diagnostics, with estimates provided within 2-3 days.

The store sits on East Main Street in downtown Humble, about 0.1 miles from Humble Lodge No. 979, A.F. & A.M., the Humble City Fire Department, and the Humble Fire Marshal's Office.

Humble Camera Center has earned a positive rating from the customers who have reviewed it, reflecting a business that has kept film processing, printing, and repair work in house for a community that has grown up around it.
