Founded by Tom Massimin and Kenny Browning, the company has over 20 years of experience serving the Greater Houston area. The team includes Kenny Browning, a Master Plumber, and Carrie Gaffney, the Service Department Manager, with Wayne Phillips serving as Project Manager. They focus exclusively on water heating technology, offering scheduled installations rather than emergency plumbing. Their process involves removing old units, expert setup of new heaters, and system walkthroughs. They provide over-the-phone estimates and handle required City of Houston permits and post-installation inspections.

The business addresses Houston’s hard water, which ranges from 8 to 15 grains per gallon, by using scale-prevention technology and annual maintenance. This includes descaling heat exchangers with formulated solutions and performing Delta T tests to ensure efficiency. They install gas and electric tanks from 40 to 80 gallons, as well as high-efficiency tankless systems that provide endless hot water. For commercial clients, they install condensing tankless units with high turndown ratios to minimize energy waste and short-cycling. They also install whole house filtration systems at the main water line to remove chloramine, sediment, and PFAS.

Hot Water Guys is recognized for its positive rating from the customers who have reviewed it, reflecting a reputation for transparent pricing and code-compliant work. They are known for thorough diagnostics, using OEM parts, and recommending repairs when appropriate rather than pushing unnecessary replacements. Their expertise in sizing tankless systems using the Delta T method ensures proper performance for local demand.

Hot Water Guys combines decades of specialized experience with a focus on long-term efficiency to provide reliable hot water solutions for Houston homeowners and businesses.

Hot Water Guys is situated on Link Road just off the North Freeway Frontage Road and within a short distance of Little White Oak Bayou. The location is also near Jefferson Elementary School and the Lindale Park train station.
