Munger Square Child Care

Munger Square Child Care is a daycare in Dallas, TX, providing full-time, year-round care for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. The center serves families across the East Dallas neighborhoods of Lakewood, Lake Highlands, White Rock Lake, Casa Linda, Forest Hills, Hollywood Heights, and Junius Heights, as well as Downtown Dallas. Staff are described as professionally trained, experienced, bilingual, and long-tenured, with a focus on encouraging growth across physical, emotional, social, and intellectual areas. The center organizes its day around three connected learning spaces. Each child is based in a homeroom with learning centers tailored to their stage, where teachers observe key developmental indicators and extend learning through questions and new materials. Toddlers and preschoolers move into indoor great rooms for group activities, pretend play, and continued physical, intellectual, and social-emotional development. The outdoor learning spaces include a garden tended with a dedicated gardening teacher, an open field for games, and a 40-foot covered area with sand and water tables for group exploration.

The center sits on Junius Street, directly next to Munger Park and a short walk from North Munger Boulevard and Gaston Avenue. The Aldredge House and the Dallas County Medical Society Alliance Foundation are both about a third of a mile away, and Dorothy and Wallace Savage Park is also within a third of a mile.

Munger Square Child Care holds a rating of 4.30 from families who have reviewed it, reflecting steady approval from the households it serves. Its blend of structured homerooms, shared great rooms, and garden-based outdoor learning gives East Dallas families a daycare environment built around curiosity and hands-on discovery.
