Homeschool House

Homeschool House is a tutoring service in Belton, TX. It operates as a homeschool hybrid and microschool serving central Texas homeschool families, with educational support offered across all grade levels. Programming ranges from single-meeting classes and eight-week elective courses to part-time and full-time microschool attendance, giving families the flexibility to customize a child's education. The school places a deliberate emphasis on balanced development through academics, arts, and physical education, delivered in small class sizes that allow for personalized attention. Homeschool House holds a 5.00 rating from the customers who have reviewed it.

The school opened its doors in 2020 with the goal of supporting homeschool families. In its early years the program combined elective classes with curriculum sales, but in 2024 the school stepped away from selling curriculum so it could concentrate fully on high-quality classes and meaningful learning experiences. Today, core academics are delivered through block scheduling and cover English Language Arts, math, history, and science. Enrichment and elective offerings include additional science, nature studies, orchestra, technology, visual arts, and performance arts. Families can choose single-meeting classes for flexible exploration, eight-week elective courses for deeper study, part-time or full-time microschool enrollment for more structure, and single-meeting social classes designed purely as a social outlet for students.

Homeschool House is located on Bending Br Wy in Belton, less than a mile from Lakewood Elementary School and Lakewood Ranch Park. West Adams Avenue runs about eight-tenths of a mile away, and the surrounding area includes the Lakewood Ranch neighborhood, with Deep Cut Cove on Belton Lake and Temple Windmill Farms Park both roughly a mile and a quarter from the campus.

Classes are led by experienced, caring instructors in small group settings, and the school is built around hands-on, engaging work and a welcoming community of fellow homeschool families. The founder, Allison Wilson, helped shape the program from its earliest elective classes into the hybrid and microschool model it is today.
