Butler Floors

Butler Floors is a flooring contractor in Austin, Texas. The company carries hardwood, carpet, luxury vinyl plank, laminate, and tile, and its team helps customers work through the choices to match a selection to their aesthetic and budget. Carpet is presented as a fit for living rooms and bedrooms and other high-traffic common areas; hardwood is offered in hand-scraped and custom-stained finishes, pre-finished options, and styles that can be refinished over time; tile covers natural stone, porcelain, and ceramic for kitchens, bathrooms, and shower and tub surrounds; and luxury vinyl is suited to homes with pets or young children. Butler Floors serves Austin along with Bastrop, Buda, Dripping Springs, Lakeway, Georgetown, Kyle, Pflugerville, Rollingwood, and surrounding areas. It holds a rating of 4.80.

The business has been operating since May 1999, founded by Rob and Cindy Butler, who have run it for more than 26 years. Estimates are free: customers visit the showroom, choose styles and see pricing, and Rob measures the square footage and notes the transition pieces needed, with a free in-home estimate scheduled afterward to get accurate square footage. The showroom holds thousands of samples, and customers can take samples home to view them in their own lighting. Installation crews are experienced in their specialized fields. Butler Floors also points customers toward plumbers, painters, countertop installers, window treatment providers, handyman services, carpet cleaners, and vacuum suppliers. Wells Fargo Financing is available with approved credit. Showroom visits are by appointment, and the showroom is open Monday through Friday from 10:00AM to 5:30PM.

The showroom sits on East Ben White Boulevard, about a tenth of a mile from East Ben White Boulevard and South Congress Avenue, and roughly two tenths of a mile from the United States Post Office. Fort Magruder, C.S.A. is about three tenths of a mile away.

Butler Floors has built a positive record with the customers who have reviewed it, and more than a quarter century of continuous ownership by the same family in Austin backs that reputation.
