The Space on West Main

The Space on West Main is an event space and wedding venue in Allen, Texas. Set inside a 1920s historically renovated landmark, the venue is built around intimate celebrations and weddings, with exposed brick, white ceiling tile, and oil-bronzed chandeliers giving it an eclectic feel. It serves couples planning weddings as well as clients hosting birthdays and other special events, and publishes separate pricing for weddings and special occasions. The venue holds a rating of 4.80.

The Space on West Main was created by Stephanie, a wedding photographer who grew passionate about the intimate side of the wedding industry and wanted to strip away the fluff so couples could focus on what matters. That background shapes the venue's flexibility: clients can really customize their event, interact with guests on a personal level, and treat the celebration as an intentional choice rather than a production. The Space offers an open vendor policy so clients have endless options for catering and other services, and it also maintains a Preferred Vendor List it recommends. There is no food and beverage minimum, which keeps the experience customizable, and the venue includes a bridal suite for final preparations. Decor rules cover the building itself: no thumbtacks, nails, or tape that would peel paint, and any candles must be fully enclosed in a votive.

The Space on West Main sits on W Main St at 101 W Main St Suite 110, right at the edge of Downtown Allen and just steps from the Allen Station of the Texas Electric Railway memorial. West McDermott Drive and East McDermott Drive run about a tenth of a mile away, and the Allen Public Library and the Allen Arts Alliance are each roughly a fifth of a mile from the venue.

With no food and beverage minimum, a bridal suite, and an open vendor policy inside a 1920s landmark, The Space on West Main offers an unusually flexible setup for an intimate wedding or special event in Allen.
