Allen Animal Clinic is a veterinarian in Allen, TX, located at 1013 E Main St. The practice serves Allen and Collin County with compassionate, progressive veterinary care for over 50 years. As a privately owned, mixed-animal practice, it combines a small-town feel with modern medicine, caring for dogs, cats, horses, livestock, goats, pigs, llamas, and alpacas. Established in 1972, it was the first veterinary clinic in Allen and now operates under a second-generation team of doctors and staff.

Guided by the philosophy “This patient, this owner, this day,” the clinic provides thoughtful, individualized care while empowering clients with trusted veterinary and public health knowledge. The team meets daily to discuss the latest medical techniques and stay current on new technologies. They are trained in small animal medical, surgical, and dental procedures. Facilities include examination rooms, a laboratory, a small animal surgery room, and digital imaging technology including x-ray and ultrasound. When medical or surgical issues exceed their field of expertise, they work with referral practices to manage those specific situations.

Small animal patients are seen by appointment only Monday through Friday and by walk-in on the second and third Saturdays of each month. Large animal care is scheduled by appointment for routine in-office visits and ambulatory or outpatient farm calls. Emergency farm calls are a top priority, with doctors dispatched immediately based on the emergency. For small animal emergencies during business hours, the clinic makes every effort to treat the situation quickly. For emergencies outside of business hours, clients are directed to the nearest 24-hour emergency pet hospital.

The practice holds a 4.70 rating from customers who have reviewed it. Since 1972, Allen Animal Clinic has maintained a culture of caring, offering a comprehensive range of services for both domestic pets and livestock in the local community.
