White's Wrecker Service

White's Wrecker Service is a towing service in Memphis, TN. The company provides wrecker service, towing service, and auto mechanic service for stranded motorists in the greater Memphis area, covering roadside assistance such as gasoline delivery, lockout service, jump starts, and simple tows. They also handle heavier recovery work, with the capacity to lift an entire vehicle onto a recovery transport regardless of its condition or mobility. The company has been in business since 1996, and its staff is trained to assist with virtually any roadside need. When a tow is required, they transport a vehicle to their own secure facility or to the destination of the customer’s choice, and they document the condition of every car before it is placed on the recovery vehicle. Their auto mechanic service diagnoses vehicle needs and makes repairs on site, whether the customer is stranded on the roadside, in a driveway, on the curb, or at the mall. The business maintains its own secure, clean, well-kept lot, and vehicles in their possession are handled only with the owner’s permission. They also keep a list of trusted referral shops for specialty auto body and dealership work. They operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and a second location operates at 1310 N Watkins St in Memphis.

The business sits on Wilfong Road, about two-tenths of a mile from Covington Pike and a similar distance from Raleigh-Lagrange Road. Memphis Rise Academy is roughly 0.2 miles away, and Raleigh Bartlett Meadows Park is about 0.4 miles from the site. Gerwin Refuge, a protected area, is within a mile.

A steady record of repeat and referred customers has shaped the business over nearly three decades, reflecting the kind of long-term trust that matters most when a driver is stranded.
