The history of Auto Solutions began in a garage connected to a double-wide trailer, where the founder bought vehicles from the nearby Airport Auto Auction that required body work. He would sand, apply bondo, and paint the vehicles to restore them before listing them for sale. Combining this automotive knowledge with a background in customer service from his role at the City of Maryville, he left his government job after 20 years to start the business. The entire family worked together in the early days, with the founder managing finances and car purchases, his wife handling sales, and their children washing the vehicles. Twenty-two years later, the founders have retired and handed the business over to the next generation. The team continues to follow the principle of treating others how they want to be treated, focusing on providing good cars for good people with friendly and knowledgeable sales staff.

The location sits on East Lamar Alexander Parkway, about a quarter of a mile from Amerine Park. It is roughly half a mile from the Blount County Schools Central Office and a tributary to Brown's Creek. Sevierville Road is located about seven-tenths of a mile away.

The business is known for its positive rating from the customers who have reviewed it.
