The Credit Union was formed solely for the benefit of its member-owners for the purpose of providing the very best service, rates and products. The Credit Union changed its name from Li’l Luke’s Federal Credit Union to Healthcare Plus Federal Credit Union in 1999 to reflect its expanded membership base. The Plus was added to show its ability to serve others that may be interested in joining and to reflect the added service that the credit union can provide. The credit union is a not-for-profit cooperative owned by its members and led by an unpaid volunteer Board of Directors. The Supervisory Committee is a volunteer commitment for a three year term and is appointed by the Board of Directors. The Supervisory Committee meets monthly.
