Sea Pro Boats

Sea Pro Boats is a boat builder in Whitmire, SC. The company manufactures bay, center console, and offshore boats designed for flats fishing and offshore running. Their lineup features the 225, 245, and 265 FLX Sandbar Boats, which have earned Boating Industry Top Product honors three years in a row, including the 2025 Top Product Award for the 225 Sandbar Boat. Every hull is hand-laid in SC. Customers can customize their vessels using a build-a-boat tool to select hull color, power, electronics, and canvas, and to price builds in real time.

The brand was relaunched by original owner Jimmy Hancock and industry veteran Preston Wrenn. They emphasize that their definition of value includes more innovation, standard features, and an industry-leading warranty than many competitors. Sea Pro describes itself as one of the fastest growing center console brands in the industry, attributing this growth to spending on raw materials, hardware, and equipment. The boats are foam-filled, vinyl-ester sealed, and built on a one-piece gel-coated stringer system. Hull sides and deck boxes are foam-filled and sprayed with a vinyl-ester barrier coat to prevent blistering, providing a quieter, safer, and better-insulated ride. The stringer system is bonded to the hull with Methacrylate for a strong chemical bond that resists mold and is easy to maintain. The company manufactures parts for all new boats they build. Although the previous incarnation of the company closed in 2009 and liquidated its assets, the relaunched brand does not provide replacement parts or owners manuals for older models.

Sea Pro Boats holds a 4.10 rating based on 37 reviews. The business is known for a positive rating from the customers who have reviewed it and maintains a steady record of repeat and referred customers.
