Black Dog Prints

Black Dog Prints is a printing service in Summerville, SC. Owned by Mark and Candace Butler, the company provides custom wholesale Direct to Film (DTF) printing, custom gang sheets, vinyl lettering, custom apparel, and personalized items. The business name was inspired by the owners’ goldendoodle, Gabby. Mark and Candace Butler, formerly of Forest City, NC, utilize their broad spectrum of printing experience, which began with cut vinyl, printed vinyl, sublimation, and HPV.

The company offers full-color custom DTF heat transfers that eliminate the need for weeding, picking, or screen set-ups. These transfers feature unlimited vibrant colors and can be applied to all blends and colors of fabric. Customers provide ready-for-print custom designs, selecting the gang sheet size needed. The maximum width for artwork is 22 inches, with the length based on the gang sheet selection. To ensure high-quality results, artwork must be high resolution at 300 dpi, saved as a PNG with a 100% transparent background, and in RGB color mode. Files that are too large to upload can be emailed or sent via WeTransfer.

Orders typically have a 1-2 business day turnaround time. Shipping is primarily handled via UPS Ground from their SC location, with 3-day, 2-day, and overnight upgrade options available at checkout. Because all items are custom printed, the business does not offer returns or exchanges. The company is not responsible for color shades, as screen colors may not be accurate. Thin details, opacity effects, drop shadows, and fluorescent or glow effects do not transfer well or are not available.
