Upstate Containers LLC

Upstate Containers LLC is a shipping company in Piedmont, SC. As a veteran-owned small business, the company has been selling and delivering shipping containers for over eight years. It serves residential and commercial customers, including construction and manufacturing companies, by supplying standard and modified containers in both new and used conditions. The business maintains a large inventory and holds direct contacts with major shipping lines out of Norfolk, VA, Charleston SC, Atlanta GA, and Savannah GA, while also sourcing units from partner companies across the United States.

The company offers specific container types tailored to different needs. The 20-foot standard cargo container is highlighted for its ease of transport, as it can be moved with a common flatbed tow truck or pulled by a 3/4 ton truck on a gooseneck trailer. Weighing approximately 5,000 pounds empty, it is roughly 3,000 pounds lighter than a 40-foot unit, making it easier to maneuver on job sites or farms using a tractor or backhoe. The standard 40-foot container is noted for providing a large amount of storage space at a low price per cubic foot, making it suitable for conversion into mobile offices, garages, or workshops. For those seeking more vertical space, the 40-foot high-cube container stands 9 feet 6 inches tall, offering extra headroom for hunting cabins, guest houses, or work shops. The company has completed specific projects, such as a prepped and painted 20-foot pizza oven in Greenville, SC, and a custom-painted 40-foot high-cube in Waynesville, NC.

Located at 8191 Augusta Rd, the facility sits on Augusta Road, just 8 metres from the highway. It is situated about 0.3 miles from the South Greenville Fire District HQ and the Canterbury neighborhood, and roughly 0.4 miles from Baker Creek.

The business holds a rating of 4.20 based on 38 reviews. This standing reflects a solid reputation among the customers it has served and a steady record of repeat and referred clients.

With over eight years of experience in the shipping container industry, Upstate Containers LLC provides practical storage and structural solutions for the Piedmont, SC area.
