Low Country Coins is a coin dealer in North Charleston, SC. The business is a Veteran Owned Small Business, and Bill Latour started Lowcountry Coins in 2006 while serving as a Naval Reactors Technical Assistant Chief Warrant Officer Submarines in the United States Navy. The shop grades strictly in accordance with the ANA Grading Standard, and all employees have attended an ANA counterfeit detection class; the business has intentionally purchased counterfeit coins from China as reference material and has won awards for its counterfeit display at coin shows.
