Dumpster Dads

Dumpster Dads is a dumpster rental service in North Charleston, SC, located at 2579 Oscar Johnson Drive Suite D. The company provides waste management solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial projects, serving the Greater Charleston area including West Ashley, Mount Pleasant, James Island, Summerville, Sullivan’s Island, Isle of Palms, John’s Island, and Goose Creek. They offer a variety of equipment, including 10, 15, 20, and 30-yard roll-off dumpsters, as well as 15-yard driveway-friendly dump trailers. Specialized options are available for concrete, fill dirt, and asphalt, with the latter including unlimited tonnage.

Co-founded by lifelong friends Josiah Williams and Michael Spitz, the business grew from an initial setup of an F250 and two dump trailers into a larger fleet. Williams holds a Bachelor’s in Business Management, while Spitz earned a degree in Finance and an MBA from the College of Charleston. Both attended Wando High School and Clemson University together. The founders established the company after experiencing inefficiencies in the waste management sector while investing in real estate. Today, Williams handles day-to-day operations like dispatch, sales, and scheduling, while Spitz manages financial aspects like accounting and purchasing.

The company provides flexible rental periods for household cleanouts, construction debris, furniture, and general clutter. Most deliveries are completed within 24 to 48 hours depending on availability. They offer direct, hands-on service with a focus on transparent pricing and straightforward quotes based on size, duration, and disposal needs. Most non-hazardous materials are accepted, but hazardous items like chemicals, paint, tires, and batteries require special disposal. The standard rental period is 14 days, though extensions are available. The business is closed on weekends to allow the founders time for family and outdoor activities like hunting, fishing, and boating.
