Condon Family Law & Mediation is led by Colleen Condon, who grew up on James Island, graduated from Bishop England and the College of Charleston, and earned their law degree at the University of North Carolina School of Law in 2002 before being admitted to the SC Bar that same year. Colleen founded the firm at the end of 2005, giving the practice two decades of experience in Family Court matters. Colleen was certified as a Family Court mediator in 2007. The supporting team includes senior paralegal Lisa DuBois, who earned her political science degree at Coastal Carolina University and works from Summerville; legal assistant Madeline Futeral, a Pinewood Preparatory School graduate who joined the legal field in 2024 after time in childcare and adolescent mental health; law clerk Daniela Garcia-Romanos, a 3L at Charleston School of Law who earned her undergraduate degree at Trinity University in San Antonio; and office manager Dee Gonet.

Colleen and their wife Nichols were the plaintiffs in Condon v. Haley, the case that secured marriage equality for SC before the Obergefell decision. Colleen is a member of the LGBTQ National Bar, the LGBTQ Family Law Institute, and HRC, has served as president of the Alliance for Full Acceptance, and has taught continuing legal education classes on marriage equality and family law issues for same-sex spouses. Colleen also served on Charleston County Council from 2005 to 2016, focusing on quality-of-life issues, and has been honored as Best Family Law Attorney by Charleston City Paper, a Charleston Choice honoree, a Lowcountry Parent Mom's Choice Award winner, and a Top 10 Attorney by the National Academy of Family Law Attorneys.
