The firm employs specialized construction techniques to address local soil challenges, such as sandy soil that may cause wall collapse or clay soil that expands with moisture changes. Builders may use strategies like laying a bed of compacted fill with pea gravel or framing excavated holes with plywood to maintain shape during gunite application. Projects typically require eight to ten weeks from excavation to completion, though build times may extend due to variables like difficult building conditions, unmarked utility lines, or custom material orders. The construction process involves permitting, layout, excavation, steel installation, plumbing, electric, gunite application, tile and coping installation, deck installation, plaster finish, and start-up.

Homeowners choose the business for its expertise with Charleston climate and soil conditions, modern equipment, and automation systems. Offerings include SmartPure systems for virtually chlorine-free water and SmartLight LEDs for vivid evening color. The company uses a visualization tool to help clients see their future pool and provides flexible financing options. The team handles the full experience, from design consultation to start-up, ensuring the backyard feels personal and integrated with the home’s flow.
