Owners Dara and Adrian planted roots along a tidal creek on Daniel Island, SC, and named the brewhouse for the evacuation warnings heard during hurricanes. The fiddler crab, abundant in their yard, became the logo, pictured holding hops. They chose the site of the original Myrtle Beach Air Force Base, dating to 1954, as a tribute to those who served there. Dara brings more than 25 years of business experience in marketing, operations, and general management. Adrian began homebrewing after his time in the U.S. Army in Germany and has been homebrewing for 10 years, bringing more than 30 years of business experience to the operation. Patrick leads all brewing. Argus, the official Brewhouse Dog, is a Doberman who serves as a service animal.
