"Bunny" Michel joined the business in 1938, and the operation steadily expanded into one of the country's largest distributors of HVAC, propane, and refrigeration products. The company remains family-run, with R.E.'s son Doc Michel serving as Chairman and grandson Robert "Bobby" Michel as President. Its product line now includes over 35,000 line items from more than 1,000 manufacturers, distributed through over 300 branch locations nationwide and supported by a central distribution campus in Maryland.
