Associated Windshield Specialists

Associated Windshield Specialists is an auto glass shop in Myrtle Beach, SC. The company provides windshield repair, replacement, and recalibration services, along with side window and rear glass work, for drivers throughout Myrtle Beach, Conway, Georgetown, and North Myrtle Beach. They offer free quotes, same-day mobile service, and in-shop appointments, and they help customers file insurance claims for auto glass repair or replacement. Their work is reflected in their Google reviews, where clients share their experiences with the company.

The shop has served the Grand Strand since 1992, bringing over 33 years of auto glass expertise to the area. Owner Gary leads a team of certified technicians who handle everything from quick chip repairs to complex ADAS calibrations on newer vehicles. Following a windshield replacement, the team recalibrates the vehicle's camera and sensor systems to keep advanced driver assistance features like automatic emergency braking and lane keeping assistance working correctly. They use state-of-the-art equipment to align front-facing cameras with the new glass, following manufacturer-specific procedures. The company notes that ADAS technologies could potentially prevent about 20,841 deaths annually, according to National Safety Council statistics, and their recalibration work supports those safety systems. For repairs, technicians seal small chips or cracks with high-quality resin; for replacements, they install OEM-quality glass and perform a thorough inspection before finishing. The business has kept pace with evolving auto glass technology over three decades, staying current with OEM standards and advanced safety systems.

The shop is located at 628 Chestnut Rd Suite #1, about a tenth of a mile from North Kings Highway and roughly two-tenths of a mile from Beach Family Urgent Care.

Associated Windshield Specialists has built a reputation on thousands of satisfied customers across the SC coast, combining three decades of hands-on experience with a commitment to honest, quality auto glass work. Their focus on safety, from chip repairs to ADAS recalibrations, keeps drivers in Myrtle Beach on the road with properly functioning windshields and advanced safety systems.
