Bed Man

Bed Man is a mattress store in Murrells Inlet, SC, that has served the Grand Strand and Murrells Inlet area since 1988. It was the first mattress-only store in the area and has grown alongside the surrounding community, becoming the largest mattress dealer in the Murrells Inlet market. The store sells mattresses from leading manufacturers at everyday discount prices and carries hundreds of mattresses along with a large inventory of futons and daybeds. Customers have voted Bed Man "Best of the Beach," "Locals Choice," and "Best of the Year" mattress store every year since those contests began. Free and quick delivery is handled by the store's own fleet of trucks and expert staff, and every mattress sold is brand new; the store does not resell any mattress that has been in a customer's home. Bed Man holds a rating of 4.70 based on 95 reviews.

The store was started by three individuals with decades of mattress industry experience, and their combined background shaped the store's focus on variety and value. The showrooms are among the largest in the United States, allowing Bed Man to display a broad selection from a variety of manufacturers at every price range. Carrying multiple brands lets the store draw on each manufacturer's strengths and pass the savings on to customers through high-volume, everyday low pricing. Weekly shipments from manufacturers support rapid turnaround on special orders, and the store does not use high-pressure sales tactics or run promotional sales with fictitious retail prices. Each mattress sold is guaranteed in writing to be advertised at the lowest available price.

Bed Man is located on US Highway 17 Bypass South in Murrells Inlet. The store's reputation among local customers is reflected in its consistently high ratings and a steady record of repeat and referred business across the Grand Strand.
