She is a nationally certified school psychologist and a licensed psycho-educational specialist in SC. Her husband and extended family also come from families of educators who taught in SC schools. Ruby’s Academy operates under a Christian philosophy and emphasizes caring for the whole child, focusing on character, independence, problem-solving, positive self-esteem, and critical thinking. The center provides breakfast, lunch, and PM snacks, with menus designed for nutritious and balanced options. Families may bring food from home following allergy policies, and no meals containing peanuts are allowed. The facility maintains secure access and age-appropriate teacher-to-child ratios in accordance with SC state licensing requirements. Communication with parents is facilitated through the ProCare App.
