Prestige Fitness

Prestige Fitness is a fitness center in Mt Pleasant, SC, serving Charleston-area members of all ages and experience levels. The gym is built around technology-driven training, including ARX's patented Adaptive Resistance technology through the Omni and Alpha machines, which are designed for full-body workouts and adjust to the individual body. The AllCore360 harnesses gravity to engage more than 50 internal core muscles through a dynamic 360-degree plank using isometric contractions. Members can also use a far-infrared sauna for heat therapy and recovery. Prestige Fitness offers day passes and short-term memberships for visitors, along with cardio machines and high-tech equipment, and is open Monday through Friday from 5:00 am to 8:00 pm and Saturday from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Prestige Fitness was founded by Zoher Alimohamed, who grew up in Moore, SC, and played soccer, baseball, and karate from an early age. He began training at 15, inspired by his father's dedication to exercise, and often worked out alongside his father's bodybuilder friends after school. After graduating from Dorman High School, he attended USC Upstate and earned a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on Psychology, Child Advocacy, and Pre-Law. He went on to create Prestige Fitness as a judgment-free space, particularly for women and people who feel insecure in traditional gym settings. He traveled to Nashville to source equipment for the gym.
