Lowcountry Lawns of Mt Pleasant

Lowcountry Lawns of Mt Pleasant is a lawn care service in Mt Pleasant, SC, serving residential and commercial properties in the Charleston area. Founded by Kyle Christy, the company provides a full program of lawn and landscaping care, including regular mowing, edging, trimming, pruning of landscaping beds, foliar and turf treatment programs, and weed control in beds and hardscape. Additional offerings include mulching with a wide range of mulch and rock options, long needle pinestraw, and poured concrete work in stamped and broom finishes. The crew installs multiple varieties of sod and supplies trees and plants to enhance properties. Pre-storm and post-storm services are available, including landscape pruning, tree trimming, tree removal, stump grinding, and large-scale storm cleanup. A certified arborist handles pruning, removal, stump grinding, treatments, and fertilization, while irrigation needs are covered through routine maintenance, repair, and new installations. The team also handles full property transformations for homes being prepared for market or for new owners.

Kyle moved to Charleston in 2010 and worked for years in professional kitchens and later in operations at an event rental company, where he built the management and leadership skills he now brings to landscaping. He founded Lowcountry Lawns and has been improving landscapes since 2020. He lives in Mt. Pleasant with his wife, Shannon, and their children, and is involved locally through his kids' sports, paddleboarding, golf, and volunteering at his church. Appointments are available Monday through Saturday, with the office closed on Sunday.
