Bozzelli and Sons Heating and Air

Bozzelli and Sons Heating and Air is an HVAC contractor in Mt Pleasant, SC. The company handles heating and air repair, heating and air installation, commercial heating and air work, historical HVAC, grow facilities, preventative maintenance, and air quality services including dehumidifiers and UV lights. It serves Charleston and the surrounding areas. The business holds a rating of 5.00 based on 142 reviews.

Bozzelli and Sons was founded in 2018 by Phillip Bozzelli, a third-generation HVAC technician who learned the trade assisting his father on service calls. The Bozzelli family has worked in Charleston HVAC since the 1960s, when John Bozzelli started with Rice Brothers in 1965, started Bozzelli Heating and Air in 1970, and acquired Rice Brothers in 1975. Phillip began riding along on service calls in 1987 and officially started working for Bozzelli Heating and Air in 1997. When that company was sold in 2018, he started Bozzelli and Sons. Michael Gaudet, who began working for John Bozzelli in 1985, returned to Charleston in 2020 to join the family business, and Cassidy Bozzelli came aboard in 2022. The company moved into a building on Highway 41 in 2023.

Phillip Bozzelli has over 27 years of experience in the industry, and the company's top three technicians share more than 100 years of combined experience spanning three generations, much of it spent working in older Charleston houses and the problems they bring. The company installs Heil systems exclusively and does not install other brands. It operates without sales quotas, upsells, or salesmen, and its approach is to repair equipment when feasible, regularly repairing systems more than 20 years old, and to replace only when it makes sense.

Bozzelli and Sons is a family-owned business based in Mount Pleasant, where Phillip and his wife Cassidy live with their children. Its strong local reputation is reflected in consistently high customer ratings across a large base of reviews, and its track record rests on more than five decades of family experience with Charleston's older homes and their particular HVAC challenges.
